Delaware Valley Geo-Institute (DVGI) November 2024 Dinner Meeting - I-95 Emergency Rebuild

The presentation will discuss the Repair of Interstate 95, and the effort it took to rebuild the damaged portion of the highway in such a short timeframe in June 2023. This presentation will address the repair work as well as conditions endured during the short design and construction process. Additionally, the mechanically-stabilized earth (MSE) design of the temporary embankment will be reviewed.
