Philadelphia Engineering Foundation
The Philadelphia Engineering Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, is the charitable arm of the Engineers’ Club of Philadelphia (a 501(c)6 trade association). Membership in the Foundation and its Board is contingent on membership in the Club. The Foundation was established in 1967 to promote knowledge, education, and training in the science and profession of engineering.
The Foundation administers several awards and scholarships as part of Delaware Valley Engineers Week. This provides a 501(c)3 tax deduction to individuals contributing to these awards.
The Foundation is working on other programs to promote and advance the engineering profession.
The Foundation is continuing to expand its efforts in student outreach and to provide a means for charitable contributions for this effort.
