About the Meeting:
Join the EAP and David Schick from Eaton who will provide a great overview of code changes related to receptacles.Attendees will walk away with a better understanding as to where tamper resistant receptacles need to be used on residential and commercial applications. Mr. Schick will also cover the 2014 NEC code change on damp and wet locations and what receptacles are needed for those applications. Code topics include AFCI, GFCI, Healthcare, Tamper Resistant, Controlled Marked Receptacles, and Extra Duty WIU Covers.
NEC Update:
Stan Altzman, Electrical Inspector from United Inspection Agency, an EAP Member Company, will provide attendees with a brief update on the National Electrical Code, focusing on articles 90 and 100 of the 2014 NEC.
